The following format is based on 100 main event entries, the number of qualifiers and dollar amounts are subject to change based on the number of entries.
The Main Event Format is scratch (flat score) format.
The top 24 players (all shifts combined) will advance to the double-sided bracket playoff. If you play more than one shift, your highest qualifying shift is used to determine where you are seeded.
Top eight qualifiers receive a “bye” through the first bracket.
The top qualifier cash prize is given to the highest shift total for main event entrants only. In the case of a tie, the prize money is split.
Play Offs
Play offs are match play. Top 24 players compete on both the “A” and “B” Side.
A Side:
- Brackets based on seeding
- Matches determined by 3 game total pinfall
- Winners advance, losers are eliminated
- Players can choose to end the match before the 10th frame of game 3 if there is a clear winner
B Side:
- Brackets based on a randomized draw
- Matches determined by best two out of three
- Winners advance, losers are eliminated
- Players can choose to end the match if there is a clear winner before the conclusion of the final match
Finals
The final match play is determined by the higher seed’s bracket.
Ex: The A side winner qualified 10th, the B side winner qualified 3rd. The championship match will be a best two of three match play.
The A side winner qualified 5th and the B side winner qualified 20th. The championship match will be 3 game total pin fall.
